Top Summer Trends

            Summer is right around the corner. For some states, it already feels like it. The hot breezy weather, constant sunny days, and clear skies take me back to that summer-loving feeling. During these unfortunate times, we need something to look forward to. Hopefully, by summer, things will begin to go somewhat back to normal.  In a couple months, many people may be making new plans to get together (in a small group of course).  When that time comes, we need to be trendy and stylish. With that said, here are the top six trends for the upcoming season. 

Light-Colored Blazer

            I don't think a blazer will ever go out of style. However, this summer a light-colored blazer is the way to go; it can be beige, white, cream, or tan. Wear a tan oversized blazer with a camisole underneath, light-washed jeans, high heeled sandals, and a clutch for a great casual summer going-out look.


Flip-Flop Sandals

             During the summer, sandals are a must in a wardrobe. But if you want to look your trendiest, flip-flop sandals are what everyone is wearing. It is a great way to look chic with an easy slide-on shoe. Pair these with a white tee, dark-washed jeans, and a gold chain necklace for a fashion-forward look. 

Voluminous Dresses 

            These light and airy dresses are sure to keep you stylish and comfortable this summer. A puffed sleeve and ruffled dress can be worn with nude sandals and a shoulder bag for a casual fashionable look. 

Tube Tops

            The 90's look is definitely back this season and tube tops are one of the iconic pieces of clothing for that decade. They come in all different colors to go with any outfit you have planned.  Throw a blazer over this top for a cooler night-out look, or wear with jeans and sneakers for a casual outfit.

Zebra 

            Every season has a print, summer's print is zebra. This chic look can be worn with a washed-colored jean, black strappy sandals, and silver hoops. Wearing an animal print item can easily update any outfit.

Butter Yellow

            This is the official color of summer. This sunshine yellow color relates to the season perfectly.  It can be worn as a satin dress, tee-shirt, or a light knit sweater.  It is a color that will surely bring a fresh and happy feel into any wardrobe.
